Join us for worship in our sanctuary on Sundays at 10:30am: This gathering includes pew seating, organ and guitar-led singing, and the trappings of a typical mainline protestant worship experience (prayer, hymn singing, a 4-part choir, lectionary-based scripture readings, a moment with the children, a message delivered by the pastor, a time to give tithes & financial offerings for the ministry of the congregation, monthly celebration of Holy Communion [Christ's table is open to all!], and a spoken liturgy). All are welcome to join in all parts of this worship experience, including children. However, if your child would like to leave before the message, they are welcome to go to children's Sunday School after the moment with the children. [Park in the parking lot and enter through the double doors.] Join us for the Back Alley Gathering on Sundays at 7:30pm: This gathering includes coffeehouse style seating (couches & chairs). It is an atypical protestant worship experience (experiential and interactive with lots of space for dialogue and silence, no set order of worship, contemplative prayer and song, guitar music, alternative liturgies, prayer as artwork, and more. Each week rotates between one of the following topics: Adoration, Confession, Thanks-giving, Supplication. All are welcome to join in all parts of this worship experience, including children. If your child is antsy, they are welcome to do artwork near us. Each week we enjoy Equal Exchange tea and coffee. [Park in the parking lot and enter through the alley entrance near the garden.] |
